Centre County Tactical Response Team

The Centre County Tactical Response Team (CCTRT) consists of 15 officers from six participating agencies in Centre County, including three officers from University Police. This specialized team trains regularly on actions including critical drills and tasks, search and entry tactics, and tactical precision marksmanship. The CCRT may be involved in, among other things, serving high-risk arrest or search warrants, barricaded gunmen events management, dignitary protection, and tactical watch-over for large events.
