Ccure 9000 Migration Updates

August 2020:

  • We remain under a change freeze with Ccure 800. This continues to mean that if you create new clearances, events, or time specifications that will be needed in Ccure 9000, our office will need to be made aware so that we can create them in the new Ccure 9000 instance. You are still able to add clearances to personnel in Ccure.
  • We experienced some delay relating to COVID and the overall unique aspect of this year, we will be scheduling to switch panels to Ccure 9000 beginning in November after the students have returned home. If students should return home sooner, the schedule will be accelerated.
  • More information to come on training and scheduling of the move to Ccure 9000.

July 2020:

  • Ccure 800 Freeze/Migration Tool – The Ccure system freeze is still in progress. While it has extended longer than originally planned, the migration tool brought to light additional items and configurations that the team determined were necessary to bring into the scope of the overall migration. The team is working to create 300+ privileges in the new system currently. Once complete, a revised timeline will be available. As a reminder, during this time any changes made in Ccure 800 will need to be documented so that they can be reflected in Ccure 9000. We continue to be available for changes that Access Coordinators are unable to perform during the freeze. Please be in touch, as necessary.
  • Panel Conversion - We will be communicating with you to coordinate panel-by-panel conversion to the new system. The team is waiting on the results of the freeze/migration of data for a further update on the timeline surrounding this task.
  • Training & Website – The Ccure 9000 migration website page is now live! Please be sure to check here for ongoing updates. Ccure 9000 training resources and guides will be posted once we are closer to migrating users to the new system.

June 2020:

  • Ccure 800 Freeze/Migration Tool – We continue to operate within the Ccure 800 freeze while the migration tool is running. Physical Security continues to work closely with the migration team to review errors and identify additional items to migrate. Our team has received access to the new system and we are preparing to begin building user privileges in the new system. As a reminder, during this time any changes made in Ccure 800 will need to be documented so that they can be reflected in Ccure 9000. We continue to be available for changes that Access Coordinators are unable to perform during the freeze. Please be in touch, as necessary.

April 2020:

  • Access Coordinator streamlining – A request was sent out to all Master Access Coordinators to request a streamlined approach to the current Ccure 800 users. This approach was necessary for the migration efforts and also provided additional security within the remote work environment. We heard from many of you and we thank you for your response and it has tremendously helped our team navigate the challenges of remote work and prepare for the migration. Thank you!
  • Ccure 800 Freeze – We recently communicated about the upcoming system freeze that is estimated to last approximately 45 days. During this time, any changes made in Ccure 800 will need to be documented so that they can be reflected in Ccure 9000. This freeze period provides the ability to migrate a portion of Ccure 800 to Ccure 9000. We are happy to continue to help and support where we can during this time. Please be in touch, as necessary.
  • Panel Conversion - We will be communicating with you to coordinate panel-by-panel conversion to the new system.
  • Training – Our team has already begun work on training documents for Ccure 9000. We are also investigating the possibility of a central website for migration updates and training support. We will be providing documented and live virtual training.
